Texas Book Festival Announces 2019 Library Grant Recipients

The Texas Book Festival (TBF) announced the winners of its 2019 Texas Library Grants at the Texas Library Association conference in Austin today. Forty-one public libraries across thirty-six Texas counties received grants totaling $100,500.

The American Library Association’s Office for Intellectual Freedom (OIF) has compiled its annual list of the most frequently challenged books in the U.S. in order to inform the public about censorship in libraries and schools.
